CHASS faculty are involved in a variety of projects on and off campus. A NC State professor set up a linguistics booth at the 2010 NC State Fair and asked CHASS Communications to help publicize the endeavor. I interviewed the professor and wrote
Deep-fried food and NC dialects at 2010 State Fair, which appeared on the CHASS newsblog and was later picked up by the
NC State Bulletin. The article was intended to encourage students, faculty, and staff to attend the NC State Fair and stop by the dialect booth.
